Sea Writes is primarily a nature exploration blog. The author is a young environmental educator. Her goal is to raise excitement and awareness about wildlife, ecology, and stewardship by sharing her own experiences with the natural world, as well as knowledge she gains in her personal studies.
Sea is a North American young adult, born and raised on the Atlantic Coast. She was steeped in childhood memories of mountain creeks, sandy toes, ant bites, and falling leaves. Her dreams include living near the shore and finishing a novel, and one of her happiest memories is standing ankle-deep in an estuary mud flat in October, watching the clouds and the tides.
She recently received an Environmental Studies degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and is working as a full-time educator for a conservation non-profit. She lives with a good friend and her tiny baby corn snake, Chesapeake. You can often find her roaming, reading, drinking coffee, and napping.
Her book reviews are also available at Sea Reads.
